If you’ve ever sinned in any way —then yes, you need rescuing.
Sin separates us from God. The Bible says we’re all guilty and in danger of judgment.
Romans 3:23 — “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”
Hebrews 9:27 — “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.”
Even the devil believes in God. What saves you is not just believing He exists, but trusting in what Jesus did—His death, burial, and resurrection—and receiving that gift.
James 2:19 — “Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.”
Romans 10:9 — “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”
God doesn’t want anyone in hell. That’s why He sent Jesus. But love doesn’t force—it invites. If we reject the gift of salvation, we choose separation from God forever.
2 Peter 3:9 — “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise… not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”
John 3:18 — “He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already…”
None of us are.
Salvation isn’t earned—it’s a gift.
You don’t clean yourself up to come to Jesus. You come dirty, and He washes you clean.
Titus 3:5 — “Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us…”
Ephesians 2:8-9 — “For by grace are ye saved through faith… not of works, lest any man should boast.”
Call out to God. Admit you’re a sinner. Believe that Jesus died, was buried and rose again for you. Confess with your mouth and call on God to save you.
He promises He will.
Romans 10:13 — “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
Acts 16:31 — “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved…”
